John Gibson Settles Case for Widow of Man Who Fell From Drilling Rig
Today, John Gibson recovered a confidential, but significant settlement for a woman who's husband fell 90 feet from a drilling rig. Drilling is extremely hazardous work. The worker was 90 feet up in the air on what is called a "monkey board" when his safety equipment failed to catch him and he fell to his death. Through deposition testimony, Mr. Gibson was able to show that the driller of the rig failed to follow safety protocol and that the company tried to cover up the facts by falsifying reports of the incident.
